Jewelry Care

All UPTREND STUDIO  jewelry is skillfully designed and is expertly crafted by artisans using high quality, long lasting materials.

BRASS BASED

Brass products will naturally tarnish over time but this is not a fault in the product.

These products are not resistant to water, moisture or sweat.

To keep your items in top condition, you must handle them carefully.

STAINLESS STEEL

Stainless Steel jewelry a steel alloy with a minimum of 10.5% chromium content by mass and a maximum of 1.2% carbon by mass.

Stainless Steel has a naturally high resistance to tarnishing and rusting.

For this reason, we use this material most in our products.

These products are water resistant, but as with any jewelry , it is best to avoid contact with chemicals to maintain their shine.

Please note that the color tone of stainless steel products is slightly darker than that of sterling silver products.

If you want to buy longer-lasting products, please choose stainless steel products.

STERLING SILVER

The best known precious metals are gold and silver.

Silver has a softer structure compared to many mines. Having a soft structure makes it difficult to process in various designs. In order to give silver a hardness that can be processed, it must be mixed with various metals such as copper.

925 Sterling Silver consists of 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper.

Silver is a precious and gentle material. Please take care of these products.

When you are not using silver products, we strongly recommend that you keep them in a closed box away from light.

When not in use, silver that is exposed to air, moisture and sunlight loses its originality over time.

Special Care for Different Materials

Different materials used in traditional Indian jewelry require different care:

–    Kundan and Polki: These traditional styles feature uncut diamonds and intricate settings. Avoid using water on these pieces as it can weaken the adhesive used in the setting. Clean them with a dry, soft cloth.

–    Gemstones: Different gemstones have different levels of hardness. Clean them with a soft, damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaning solutions.
